01Why roof replacement
Replace
A replacement is the one time everything on the roof gets decided at once.
The deck gets checked and repaired where it needs it. The underlayment goes down before anything else goes on. That's the part you never see, and it's the part that decides how the roof ages.
02On roofs we put on
Replacements, as they actually go
- 01Under way The crew on the roof, the landscaping under tarps.
- 02Dried in Underlayment down, bundles staged along the ridges.
- 03Finished Cleaned up and gone.

03How it goes
How the job goes
We come and measure
On the roof, not from the curb. You get photographs of what we found and a written price that lists what the work covers.
You pick the roof
Shingle or metal, then line and color. Take your time with it; it's the decision you'll live with longest.
Tear off and dry in
Old roof off, deck checked, then underlayment before anything else goes on. If we find rot up there, we photograph it and talk it through with you before the plan changes.
Finish, then the cleanup
The roof goes on, the flashing goes right, and we leave the ground the way we found it.

Things people ask us
Rather talk it through? Call (817) 775-8044.
How long does a replacement take?
It depends on the size and the pitch of the roof, and we'll tell you before we start, not after.
Do I need to be home?
You don't need to be. Fair warning: a tear off is loud while it lasts, so plan around it if you work from the house.
What if you find rot under the old roof?
We stop, photograph it, and talk it through with you before anything changes. Nothing gets covered up.
What is the warranty?
Five years on our workmanship. The material carries the manufacturer's warranty on its own terms.

Texas Accent Roofing was such a pleasure to do business with. The owner and crew are very professional and friendly. They cleaned up the surroundings and left it as neat and clean as it was before they installed the roof. They were also able to repair my Chimney at the same time. I have a 2 story house with a 12 pitch roof which makes it more difficult to work on but they did a great job! I will use Texas Accent in the future and will refer to friends and family!
